@GrifN93 1st: You do not learn he's Richard Rahl until the 2nd book so technically he still is Richard Cypher. 2nd: It doesn't matter if you call it Ancient Earth, or "A mirror image from which Earth was created." it still gets the point across. 3rd: The T.V. show is BASED off the book series its not an Exact replica of it. The only things that are truly the same are the main characters, and the general plot. Its fine if you don't like it, but don't hate it just because its not like the books.
