Did you even bother to look at>>>

Hockey Stick over Time -Narrated

"The current temperature spike as well as the Little Ice Age falls within the range of natural variability" That doesn't meant that it is us causing the increase. I would expect an increase following the LIA. Wouldn't you?

We have proxy data that goes back millions of years.

You should probably realize we don't need a million years of recorded climate data to ascertain whether it falls within the realm of natural variability. Various variables, known and measured, affect climate. If we had only the past 30 years we'd still have enough data.

You sound like one of those people with no formal training in climate science yet you presume to know more about climate science than actual climate scientists.

Oh.. I'm well aware that we have proxy data.. like the Greenland and Antarctic ice cores.. Why don't you take a look at graphs made from them ? You will soon see that the temperature increase since coming out of the Little ice Age is well within the natural range of variability. As you see these graphs... pay close attention to the increasing number of years as each graph goes further and further back in time.

By your saying that..." If we had only the past 30 years we'd still have enough data."... you've just proven that you are totally ignorant of the necessity of have data going back thousands and tens of thousands of years in order to determine if our present temperature and climate is unusual or not.
A thirty year data set is shows only a blink of an eye in geological/climatological history. Like me determining the weather over a year by looking at the weather in the last thirty minutes. LOL

Umm... clearly you don't understand the nature of the problem. The problem is comparative, not absolute. The current temperature spike as well as the Little Ice Age falls within the range of natural variability. That obviously doesn't mean the temperature change is necessarily natural.

CO2 is the only variable that explains the temperature change. I would leave to see you argue otherwise. Apparently you've deemed yourself a climate science expert.

@DeusExMachina7709 Perhaps you would be good enough to enlighten us as to why Phil Jones has stepped down from the CRU at East Anglia.
Maybe you could tell us why Michael "Hockey Stick" Mann at Penn State is going to be investigated. Perhaps you could tell us why "Fudgin'" James Hansen at NASA has to tell lies. Yep,,, Scientists... character and honesty is not determined by how many strings of letters there are at the end of one's name.

"Natural variability" doesn't mean an arbitrary delta value. Natural variability are the climatic parameters of natural variables, such as solar irradiance.

Every temperature change is caused by a fluctuation of one of the variables. Again, ONLY CO2 explains the change.

If you beg to differ, you must know more about climate science than every climate scientist. I'd suggest you take your brilliant findings to the NAS. Otherwise, cut the conceit.

@DeusExMachina7709
Scientists ? Does that mean they are like Gods ? Dod you know that character and honesty is not how many strings of letters there are at the end of one's name? All those letters do is get you your first job.

Nope, not Gods. That hasn't stopped you from deifying yourself.

I wonder if you interrupt your science teacher during every class and tell him that Einstein or Newton whoever was all wrong. After all, they weren't gods, but you sure are. You know more than them.
