Mary is the luckiest woman on Earth. Lucky that the Danes are such nice people that love their monarchy no matter what.

"mo matter what"? no matter their extravagance and all that?
just because they support the system does not make it just,
many of the unjust systems, such as limited suffrage, used to have great public support, but it does not make it just.

"lucky" accsording to you, seems to be the right to profit at others' expenses
that's why I always support low taxes, because you simply can't trust the state to spend it for you.
ex. parliament give $28 millions to Mary to decorate palace

I do not doubt that she love Denmark
but the more persuasive argument is that she loves the privilege to dip generously into danish state's coffers

I think she loves Frederik, thats why she married him :)

just look at the deficit mary suffers year after year
it is also shocking that parliament could give them 28 millions taxes to decorate private palaces
I sympathize with the danish people, if I were to see my money being reckless thrown for private advantages on such scale, I could not tolerate it

@astridbelge .....makes one wonder then how much longer it will continue before it becomes utterly distasteful or vulgar to tolerate...again, perhaps the Queen should step in and put a reign on needless/reckless spending of their citizens tax money.

their 28 milllions palace renovation has engaged the finest artists in Denmark and will be completed in 5 years Mary wants 20 bathrooms installed.
I wonder how the public feels one gets so little info here about danish public opinions

dear me...that is quite an extravagant sum of money. Shall we assume that the Royals think of the expense as more of an investment?

of course royals don't think them as burdens
would them suffer those kinds of deficit if they have that conscience?
