Can you please help me? Every time I take a picture of something that is maybe.....2 or 3 feet in front of me, it looks so so so bright! SOME OF THE PICTURE EVEN TURN OUT WHITE! Please help?

It seems like you don't know how to operate DSLR Cameras. You mostly adjust the brightness of the photo with Shutter Speed, Aperture, and ISO.

There should be a meter that looks like this
-2..-1..0..1..2
Play around with the Shutter speed, iso and the aperature and you'll get the idea of how to adjust the pictures brightness.

Practice makes it perfect.
