Valve amps are amps, trannys aren't - That includes Line6.
Its a difficult thing to quantify but from a technical point valves allow for a harmonic structure that seems way more attuned to the stringed instrument. As a player, heh, valve amps are like an organic extension of the guitar.
A good guitar with a good valve amp and you just cannot stop playing - it just feels right.
Beginners & Strats go together like nothing else, it will help you play, a les paul won`t. I have pretty much the same Rig Delux strat and supersonic amp. If you want the best of both worlds try a PRS Beutifully made Short scale great necks easy to play, But you may need a bank loan ? and use a valve amp, i think you will be impreessed. Good luck..!
amen. my wife is always asking me why I am looking at guitars when i already have (more than a couple)... it is about sound. some songs just NEED a strat, when other absolutely HAVE to be played on a Les Paul.. (RIP) and others are exclusively meant to be played on a tele and that is that!!! not to mention hollow-bodies, and acoustics..
I want Versatility and some thing that I want to treat as if Megan Fox if she was in my room. I want the guitar to look so nice that when I grab it I can't put it down and that I am not bugged by something on it. Sound needs to be able to Universal!
Not Sure on Acoustic or Electric.
Budget max not over $500.
Humbucking if it is the PRS or a Semi Hollow.
I really don't mine if it's used as long as it's in good condition and it's what I want. Color- Peferabley RED.
Dude...I have a Candy Apple Red 60th Anniv. Fender Strat for sale right now...it's near the top of my video list...I used it on the Alvarez/Mbrace video as well...it sounds great as is...it's in near mint condition and it's cheap enough to leave room for a Hot Rails style pickup at the bridge position (it's a higher output mini humbucker to give it even more versatility...). Check it out...the whammy bar even works pretty good for a stock Strat! $399.99 delivered to your door (in the Cont.U.S.).
Thanks, but I think I have my heart set on the PRS SE Custom 24, or the Ibanez EWC30 Ash. I just hope I can get it in Black Cherry. I've always wanted on a PRS and the feel and sound of it was amazing! I thought they went for 500 because I saw it at guitar center for 500 and I was so happy, but I think it was on sale. do you know when they have their sales?
Thanks bro I keep Thinking I'm going Crazy and people must think I'm crazy, LOL. Anyways, I am also picky so, I went and tested out a lot of guitars the other day. it's funny cause I listen to indie, Alternative, and soft rock. I was looking for a full tuned Semi Hollow at first, but I decided to check each type of guitar. I started with acoustics and fell in love with an Ibanez EW in ash and it had a very high tone, not full deep one like most acoustics. Electric was a PRS SE 24 RED!
