Obama actually did something I liked today (shock!). He's considering sending guardsmen to the Texas Mexico border given the violence there. That's one for the gipper. ;D

Unfortunately not, they are just throwing more targets out there for mexican drug lords. If guardsmen go to the texas/mexico border I suspect via politics they will be a heavily, heavily restricted ROE

I hear ya. It would be typical to send the men in and then not let them do their jobs.

Exactly, but ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC will not report any of that, they will just give Obama face time, and probaly spend a week or two praising "the one" for such a brilliant manuver....something they called bush a "murderer" for...

What blucollardem said is not only distasteful but incorrect. Regan cleared up all of Carter's mistakes as he ruined the economy and American and made America the most wealthy it has been during a peace time in the history of America.
I have little faith that Obama will do a tenth as well as Regan, but he's our president now so we'll see how good he does.
About the video thank u so much for posting this=) After watching the inaguration I really needed to watch some Regan=)

President Obama would benefit from watching and listening carefully to this speech. This speech had both style and substance and is timeless in content.

After watching Obama take the oath, it made me miss Reagan. He was one of the greatest presidents. I miss him.
