dortyhoor.. its not there because its not in original version of this song.. ANL changed a few words here and there.. alot of artists do when they cover.. doesnt distract from the sentiment and thats the important thing.. i like alot of versions of this because of that.. click on Ralph McTells version if you wish to listen.. personally i really like Sineads rendition.. her voice to me captures the essence of this song and i like ANL so i'm not arguing with ya.. thumbs up to RsbrrySwrlGrl aswell.

I was just taking the piss, I'm well aware of Ralph mcTells original version. We had to sing it in school along to the recording.

Wow! I've been reading the comments on this song, and I'm truly dissapointed. In both the British and the Americans! How did a song about the hardships some go through turn into such cruel words to each other. All people have their good and their bad...it's what makes us all human! Listen to the song people! We need to look past the outside and see that inside we are all the same! We feel love and hate, and all anyone really wants in life is to be happy and excepted! Replay the song and LISTEN.
