Actually, if you all want to play a great ccg that's cheap to buy, check out Wyvern. You can get it on ebay super cheap because it died years ago. It came out just after magic & flew for like 2 years before dying out, like so many other card games. Wyvern is really fun & easy to learn & play. I highly recommend it. Especially since you won't go broke collecting the cards. It's not as good as mtg, but it is fun to play. That's all that matters, really
i got one q for ya... now i always thought if i blocked. my creatures toughness would be fighting the attackers power this video says other wise. it says my blocking creatures power will do damage to the attacker but that just seems so backwards....so say i block a 1/1 with a wall of 0/7 they both live?
@soulkens the way i understand it is that it's really both. the 1 power would drop your toughness to 6 but since your power is 0 the 1/1 would stay, if however your card was a 2/2 and YOU were attacking the 1/1, your 2 power would take out the 1/1 while at the same time the 1 power would drop your toughness one point.
@soulkens Yes, they would both live. Each creature deals it POWER to the other creatures TOUGHNESS. Your POWER is your ATTACK strength Your TOUGHNESS is your DEFENSE strength You're confused because of the term (attacker & defender). In battle, both the defender & attacker 'attack' each other. Think SWORD for your POWER & SHIELD for your TOUGHNESS & it'll make a lot more sense.
@slikker68 no such thing as an attacking and defending number. their is an attack number and toughness number. When a monster does damage its always with the first number and when a monster takes damage it takes the damage from its toughness, the second number. So you would both die because he does do four damage to you which is higher then your three toughness and you would do three damage to his two toughness. Both die.
