It is helpful to show children that in order to obtain a desired outcome, there is a journey or action to reach such goal.

It may be misguided to simply say work= money. Money becomes a substitute for actual goals the child wishes to obtain, and the child may grow to simply operate in a system to reach the substitute; or, as this video exemplifies, money, instead of his/her goal.
