Sorry it didn't help. I have never claimed to be an expert with Audacity, just trying to answer the questions as they come in. If you need more expert help, you should contact the Audacity people and ask the ones who wrote the program, not just someone who does a short tutorial on how to use a portion of the program.

i have this problem that when i record with my mic the computer starts recording with it own mic too and i cant get the computers mic off what should i do

I would suggest looking in your Sounds section of Control Panel and see if you can turn off the other mic there. If you have two mics connected, there should be a way to control these from the Control Panel.

In order to record from your PC sounds, you will need to activate the Stereo Mix option in your soundcard (if it has one). Not all computers have this option, otherwise you need to use something like Virtual Audio Cable to accomplish this.
