Usually you won't hear a commie sound "skyline-ish".

They normally have that bogan too-low rumble that is cliche.

The Skyline 3.0 litre straight six is a good unit, but if you rev engines too hard you'll create wear & tear on the engine. For example an Ariel Atom 500 has 500bhp from a four pot supercharge unit, but to get the 500bhp you have to rev the enigne to 10,000rpm & the rings will be eaten for breakfast, while a Kenworth produces 500bhp at 2000rpm, so the Kenworth doesn't have to kill itself to produce power while the Ariel does.

its got an RB25! no 3 litres. the 25s have been proven to cop 7000rpm under load for a very long time without any problems.

I agree about the rb30 though, not very good for high rpm without a performance rebuild

How can you over rev an efi engine?

If you over rev any engine or even rev it too hard to often, you'll wear the rings out & scratch the cylinder bore

its not over revving. 7000rpm, the end of the VLs rpm gauge, is only the start of the redline on a Skyline gauge .... so it actually didnt even make it to redline.
