u guys see these guys are just a bunch of nobodys. they dont do anything worth while and they arent assosiated with a university or anything. just a bunch of ppl that dont know their math or cosmology that think by talkin shit about other theories it will somehow accredit theirs!

im sorry but arguing from a position of authority isnt going to change the fact that all evidence supports a gravity governed universe...jesus christ could come down from heaven and show me his PHD from stanford and id still call him a phony. its all about the evidence not the names or the degrees or the affiliations. ultimately i doubt their affiliates even really respect them

Let me try and state it more clearly, (for my own benefit as much as anything)
If Redshift is purely related to velocity and highly redshifted objects are further away, then two objects with different redshifts can not be adjacent to each other.
Actually I think I see your point, one object could be hurtling through the other with a difference in velocity and hence redshift.

redshift is only measuring speed and direction

No I am not saying that distant galaxies are stationary.Look up Hannes Alfven and his theory of intrinsic redshift. Redshift may be a combination of velocity (and hence distance) as well as age of the material in the galaxy.
I am saying simply that objects separated by distance can not logically collide.

Do you think that cosmological redshift is somehow a different phenomenon that Doppler redshift, or is cosmological redshift simply Doppler redshift of objects which fit Hubble's law, while noncosmological redshift is redshift of objects which do not fit Hubble's Law?
