I rarely use the pen tool, but I'm working with a dark background right now and I need the pen tool to make some curves. But every time I finish up, the curves fill in themselves. How do I make this stop?

you see 3 boxes in up left corner when you select the pen tool, you should klick the second one
its like a box with the pen tool logo inside,
