Can anyone explain to me what's the joke behind Mark saying it was offside, other than the fact that he was right on the replay.

Don't take this the wrong way but are you joking!? I'd tell you only the way the question is worded and what it's asking i'm sure you must be joking..

"Seeing as though I'm 13"
...and that's why you don't get it. Come back after a few more years of studying Philosophy and try again.

And how exactly do you "finish" Plato, anyway?
Oh wait, you can't, because his body of work is more vast than your entire life (or mine for that matter) will ever be.

The only bit of soccer I can stand to look at. Utterly brilliant: "Socrates scores, got a beautiful cross from Archimedes. The Germans are disputing it. Hegel is arguing that the reality is merely an a priori adjunct of non-naturalistic ethics, Kant via the categorical imperative is holding that ontologically it exists only in the imagination, and Marx is claiming it was offside."
