I was too young to understand what was going on, but now I do and I think Perot was trying to do what Ron Paul or Jesse Ventura is going to do in 2012.
I hear old republican guys say he only ran to split the republican vote and get Clinton elected and come to find out that both of those guys were for gobal governance so i don't believe that could be acurate.
Don't believe them. Perot did not hurt Bush. If anything, he helped him.
Perot was far more liberal than Clinton. Perot supported such things as single-payer healthcare, massive taxation to pay off the debt, strict environmental laws, and strict gun control laws.
Perot didn't help Clinton get elected. And you're right in saying that Clinton and Bush are both for imperialistic global governance.
uhhh...the national debt never declined under Clinton. Don't confuse the deficit with the national debt. It increased under clinton like bush. Clinton did nothing to stop us from trillions of dollars being added to our debt.
Bwahahaha! You mean the first Iraq Invasion. We gave him the WMDs to gas the Kurds... that's why W. was so sure we'd find them there.Presidents are puppets. All Bushes are evil.
@GlobeeCat 4: avoid at all costs. Time for a real change, therefor. Not the ones politicians talk about every other four years and which means nothing. When I see these party-rallies I really wonder why no one dares to say that none of the would-be emperors actually have any clothes.

Think how farther along we'd be in stopping global warming!
Perot never had a chance.
