Please, can somebody tell me where to buy this kit. I like it better than the hub type. Thanks

the reason i went with the cyclone was the ability to gear to suit the terrain. i find i can go up the steepest of hills at almost 25km/h in 3rd (with pedal assist)

i considered the ping and cammy batteries, but their lack of high continuous loads ultimately ruled them out.

i needed a battery that can deliver 2C cont, and 3C peaks with out tripping the BMS. my new LiFeP04 Pack is more than capable., but at a price premium.

i go by the handle of diamondback on the ES forums.

A very nice build of a notoriously difficult/problematic kit. You seem to have it well-mastered. I'm running a PING LiFePo4 36/20 on my eZee front wheeled cruiser bike, and like that battery just fine. The great advantage of the Cyclone, is, as you know, the ability to gear up and down to suit speed and road conditions. But for me: super simple is good enough. I hang at Endless Sphere forums. Are you a member there? It's a great, laid-back ebike forum.
Cheers,
Reid

so you would recommend that motor to your friend
?

how long this motor will last?

most definitely, i would recommend this motor.
i would possibly even go as far as to recommend the larger more powerful motors too.

like the 650W or even the 1000W versions.

if you do not abuse these motors, they should last almost indefinitely. many thousands of kilometres at the minimum.

by not abusing the motor, i mean do not overload it. don't try to run it at too low an rpm.
they don't like low rpm's.

Yes, the motor has a 14T freewheeling cog on it.
so when you pedal, withouty the motor running, the motor does not turn.

Excellent work on the bike BTW. How did you mount the freewheel adapter to the motor?

the cyclone kit comes with the freewheel for the motor.
