i love this.

So funny, and why? because there's some truth behind it, along with a sly wink. ;)

11green11, religion doesn't exist. if it did, you wouldn't see the stars (and galaxy's) at night. It takes some stars (and galaxy's) millions (if not billions, with the Hubble telescope) of years for the light to reach the milky-way. the stars were created when the milky-way didn't exist, and now that it does exist, those stars (and galaxy's) may very well be gone. given that the universe is approximately 13.7 billion years old (that's the farthest Galaxy we can see) confirms no religion exists.

red-blue shift for the win! Light does indeed travel at about 187 thousand miles per second, but even at that speed it takes time to get places. What you say rings true, because stars and Galaxies so far away would be invisible to our eyes if they were all created instantly and at the same time, like the bible claims.

I never wanted to say god. God or gods may very well exist (or whatever you call the creator of the universe). that i do not refute. whatever it created, it created. religion does not exist (Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad, or any human ever alive). true these people existed but the religion they created is just false since the universe is 13.7 billion years old. there is no way they could have known how the universe came into being. Today we are still trying to figure that out.

Man, I hate to break it to you but religion isn't about how the universe came into being. That's just poetry and fundie rantings. Theologically, creation is about a relationship not an event. Religion isn't science dude.
