"Regulation is compatible with capitalism idiot." no, regulation or the regulation they talk about in this video is not based on a free market! AT ALL! fascism comes into play here just not to the totalitarian extent that we've seen in the past. but corperations would choose to be Fascist if we would just let them pick our goverment for us

Because socialist politicians truly care about me, I'm really enjoying all the money I've earned from being a part owner of General Motors! Wait...

I believe that capitalism is perfect, but true American capitalism ended in 1913, causing us to be where we are today.

I agree with you CureStupidity .I dont believe there is a perfect Capitalist utopia in the world today but I find it strange that China is now a free market country and the United States is gone headfirst into socialism. Our red tape, regulations, licensing and bureaucracy is stifling creativity and its enabling countries like China( which has very little of our restricitions) to kick our ass.

That's simply wrong. Chinese "free markets" remain state capitalist in nature, and subject to extensive government management. They don't constitute market socialism because there's no extensive participatory element incorporated, however.

No It is not wro. China has far less regulation than the United States. I am not saying I am a big fan of China I am just saying compared to the United States right now ,it is a freemarket. Also the bankers have not taken over China like they have in America.

The means of production is only one of the fundamental principles of socialism. The redistribution of wealth(which you seem such a great supporter of)is one of the other principles. You are making no sense when you say that "Regulation is compatible with Capitalism".Thats like saying Half-pregnant!There is no such thing.I am not wasting anymore time with a Hack like you.You are clearly in favor of regulation and subsidies ,you probably work for a Bank
