While science is not a consensus sport, it should be said that most scientists are not in agreement with the IPCC. Likewise, the "giant wave of evidence" does more to disprove the hypothesis of AGW than it does to support it.

Madalien75,
Your educational choice means rationally requires your belief in AGW. I've got 25 years of writing and working with mathematical forecasting models. As the climate models do not meet the general requirements for forecasting and have not produced accurate forecasts, I feel justified in questioning them. Wrong process yields wrong forecasts. I don't deny that warming has occurred since 1850, just that AGW is the driving cause. Likese, I feel pollution to be a greater problem.

Questioning the models is admirable.. they r wrong- which is exactly what is said here. Scepticism is healthy but vehemently sticking to an outdated view is not so great. Throughout history minority opinions have gradually grown from the small brave voice of a few to the point where they have gained public support and finally become the accepted norm.. whilst future generations look back with horror at how it could possibly have been acceptable to, say, have slaves or not allow women vote

The ice melt across during the Antarctic summer (October-January) of 2008-2009 was the lowest ever recorded in the satellite history.

Tedesco M., and A. J. Monaghan, 2009. An updated Antarctic melt record through 2009 and its linkages to high-latitude and tropical climate variability. Geophysical Research Letters, 36, L18502, doi:10.1029/2009GL039186.

@ Frutig: Googled A. J. Monaghan - he works for University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, & what's right at the top of their home page? - "Arctic Warming Overtakes 2,000 Years of Natural Cooling": "The study, which incorporates geologic records and computer simulations...provides us with a long-term record that reveals how greenhouse gases from human activities are overwhelming the Arctic's natural climate system."
