The B3 + Leslie 122 = powerful magic! Songs that I love w/B3 include: "Evil Ways" - Santana, "Jesus is Just Alright" - Doobie Bros, "Green-Eyed Lady," "Chicken Pox" by Booker T. Booker T is rad, by the way. I appreciate the perc with jazz music, but it's usually played on Chorus speed (or rotary turned off). But I like the power of the Chorus/Tremolo, screaming up high...like in "Love the One You're With." Cheesy song... but dirty B3 playing! Love it!

Well, that's a rather gratuitous comment. Do you play? —I've owned two Hammonds —Still own my B-e and there is nothing like the sound —Much more versatile, musically, than a pipe organ —A pipe organ is awesome for any J.S. Bach or, anything classical, for that matter —But, for Jazz, Rock and every other genre, the Hammond would be the choice —Just try replacing the Hammond on any Jimmy Smith, Keith Emerson, Jon Lord, Rick Wakeman, et. al. record —It would sound ridiculous...
