Urdu ghazal will always be thankful to Begum akhter and ustad Barkat ali khan sb.Nocosy is still neatr to them.If you can post some of ustad barkat ali khan we will be thankful like Baghon main pare jhoole or any ghazal.

absolutely awesome. Begum sahiba always lives in our hearts. her body may have died, but her music lives on - forever. may her soul rest in peace. she was a liberal muslim and a wonderful person in addition to being a great singer. she represented liberalism, compassion and true beauty

''she was a liberal muslim'' I didnt get your point, why one has to mention this to praise some one's work? I just couldn't understand the connection. What does liberal muslim thingz got to take with classic music? Being Muslim or Christian or whatever was her personal and religious matter and not an artistic one, isnt it?
