It is what it is. The in-place squat with a movable rack does give a huge advantage for the lifter. It should not be compared to a regular walk-out and squat meet. It is nontheless interesting. I'd like to test my strength with both types of contest. Why be son negative? As long as everybody knows they are different contests... what's the harm?

Their stance isn't wide enough and depth is way too deep.

Heavy Squats also puts tremendous pressure on the brain as blood flow around it dramatically increases.
In fact, when I do heavy Squats, I sometimes get red spots on my eyelids due to the tremendous pressure.

Yevgen Yarymbash has previous experience as an IPF lifter, which could explain why his Squats were so deep.
Ano Turtiainen's Squats are also very deep too.
