I don't know why it's so hard for people to understand that Noah was emotionally, psychologically, verbally, and possibly physically abused his entire life. He doesn't know how to trust someone and let them love him because he's never had that before and he's been told he was worthless his entire life. It's very frustrating to watch him lash out at and push Luke away, but there is a context to why he does it. It's not because he's a douchebag, a jerk, or a prick, it's because he's deeply wounded
