Well WSM was based around a variety of events, OD was strong - but maybe if he wasnt so out of shape he would have won.

IT SAYS STRONGEST MAN NOT MOST IN SHAPE MAN. THEY NEVER DID THIS EVENT AGAIN BECAUSE IT WAS MORE OF A CARDIO EVENT AND IT FAILED TO SHOW WHO WAS STRONGER. THE ANVIL RACE WAS TESTY BUT NOT OVER THE TOP LIKE THE FINAL EVENT. THAT BEING SAID, OD LOST AND THAT IS THAT, BUT HIS STRENGTH WAS SUPERIOR AS A WHOLE

Yeah it's not the fact that OD did poorly and JP obviously did well that gets to me, it's that it was the very last event, and OD had done so well in every other event that he needed to come in last place with JP needing to finish first in order for him to win. It's a bit of a fairytale ending, except done in reverse.

I agree .. that race should've been more like the farmer's walk .. more weight less distance

No. While I do believe it takes spectacular strength to run with 100kgs of bricks on your back, I think there's a difference between a 200metre course with a comparatively light weight, and walking 20-40 metres with an incredibly heavy weight.

I see .. well .. I haven't watched the latest strongman competition so I don't know if they still have it but .. do you think the farmer's walk should not be an event ?

Fair enough, however I disagree with the competition being called "The World's Strongest Man" when they have events like this.
