If those 2 ever hit SNL together, the cast could catch a brake and the ratings would go through the roof (but I'm sure Booker would save Christie from the roof). It doesn't get any better.

These guys transcend the (D) and (R) labels after their names on ballots. They both make me proud to be a resident of Newark and a citizen of New Jersey as well as a independent voter who chooses the best guy for the job

I like both of these guys. Booker should be the next Gov and Christie the next Pres. Both are the straightest politicians I have seen in my lifetime.

I love how Christie is reading his own book in the beginning. Lol.

I am from NJ, and I can answer that. Unfortunately our state has had a long history of corrupt politicians, and with the big positions, it's often been a choice between evil and more evil. However, I gotta say that both Booker and Christie have gained tons of respect from both sides. We need more people like them.

Very interesting. I'll have to do more research on him. Did you know he is running for the U.S. Senate? He'll probably be running against Geraldo Rivera, another scandalous businessman who said Trayvon Martin would not have been shot if Martin hadn't been wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

I don't live in the Garden state, but I can't say I understand the voters there very well. First they elected Goldman Sachs for governor in 2005, then they dumped Goldman Sachs for Koch Industries in 2009.

He's been a huge proponent of Vouchers, defunding public education, and a wall street shill (see him defend private equity on MTP). Booker actually got his push onto the international stage from the Manhattan Institute (a conservative think tank). He's basically a black republican that could only get into office via Dem affiliation. During his 1ST run for mayor he raised TWICE as much funds as his opponent James Sharpe, who was a 4 term mayor. The money had to come from somewhere....

how can you watch this and not think we have great future leadership coming, these 2 are political rivals, and are showing how to work together. hands up for the new jersey duo, who can help america, both great men in very different political arenas, yet find ways to work together, as most will scoff at this comment, with men like this .............the future looks real bright!!!!!!!!!!!
