There is a note in the video after 6:00 saying that you cannot do upgrade from ME to 2000, so it had to be skipped.

You need to update this to include Winblows 8. It will be most interesting to see how well the old DOS stuff is supporte now.

After XP Microsoft actually dropped DOS for a pure GUI, now do not confuse that with command prompt, that is still around but DOS as the backbone to the actual OS ended after XP

Are you sure. Didn't Windows ME's startup said "1985-1998" (At least I THINK that's what it said when I was booting it on a Virtual PC).

But then again, I don't know all about Microsoft's history and development of Windows and DOS.

If I'm wrong, please correct me.

I Don't see why this comment (wallstudios12's comment) has alot of negative votes. To be honest , I never heard of Doom 2 for the 13 years I've been born.

I heard its a game. I think it was based on SRB2's game engine, (I'm not an expert on it so don't rely on what I'm saying.)
