Completely false. I don't know a single Democrat who wants "everything done for them." My partner comes from a large family of small business owners - all Democrats. They've done quite well for themselves, as have my partner and I.

I believe you're conflating the Democrats' understanding that a society needs safety nets with the desire to have everything handed out at no cost. Typical Republican.

While there is that stereotypical "fire and brimstone, hate veiled" Christian stereotype out there (And I see it frequently, given that I'm gay and all), I apologize for jumping the gun on treating you like you were going to fit that mould. The irony is that being a member of an often-stereotyped group, I would expect myself to know better. Anyway, best of life to you!
