Is driving a car natural, or must we walk everywhere? Is wearing deodorant natural, or should we go without? Is your computer natural? If unnatural things are bad things, then maybe you should get off the computer.

Let me make it simple for you:

-just because something is "unnatural" doesn't make it bad.

-by one definition (it occurs in nature), it IS natural. Any biologist will tell you that our closest primate relative, the bonobo, is bisexual as hell.

-By another definition, every human invention is unnatural because it doesn't appear outside human society, and we don't think that's bad.

In conclusion homosexuality is natural, but if it weren't, that doesn't make it bad.

I think the point is that gay marriage, like technological advance, would be a new phenomenon. Some people argue that gay marriage shouldn't take place because it is supposedly unnatural. This argument operates on the assumption that unnatural = bad, even though humans live with many things that are considered unnatural.

Apparently, you DO live on a different planet, because homosexual behaviour in mammals has been seen and recorded for more than 50 years, including dolphins, monkeys, elephants, dogs, hyenas, penguins, seals and swans, just to name a few. Pretty much every mammal on the planet has displayed homo-, hetero-, bi- and asexual behaviour. You can claim a lot of things if it makes you feel better but to claim that it DOESN'T occur in mammals and/or in nature is purely and provably incorrect.

lesbians have the lowest chance to transmit STD's of any group, including heterosexuals. Unless they use condoms. They must be natural. Most child abusers think of themselves as straight. Gays are not more likely to abuse children, and letting them marry doesn't raise that risk. Saying that people's sexual preference and romantic interests are unnatural and bullying them for it causes mental problems. If you're concerned about their depressions, you should stop saying they're abominations.

Are you absolutely confident that an objective scientific research would back your claims that homosexuality is harmless? I respect your debatical skills, however empathy has never been a solid foundation for a respectable argument. Human emotions are seldom logical, and at best unstable. You my friend have built a case on pure empathy devoid of all reason. It may seem harmless but the body wasnt built for it. I respect you as a human, and homosexuals as well, however your convictions are wrong

Dude you are willfully blind if you ignore the disproportionate negative side effects related to homosexuality, such as increased chances to get STD's, Depression and Suicide, there is also an alarming correlation between Homosexuality and Child Abuse. EMPIRICAL data, as in evidence that has been tested, repeated, and observes PROVES that homosexuality is connected with a whole host of negative side effects but yet you ignore the facts and call me a bigot??

See, again you miss the point. It's not about what people agree with (people agree with all sorts of falsities). I don't judge the wrongness of an action by what the majority thinks, but by whether or not it harms people. If it doesn't, it's morally allowed. If it does, you need to justify it by explaining how the necessity of the underlying principle cannot be reasonably denied by anybody. All bigotry fails that test, and most sexual freedom between adult humans passes it.
