We Republican women are working together to create jobs, reduce spending, help small businesses, and put health care decisions back into your hands. While our backgrounds are different, one thing is not: we are all conservative reformers -- committed to leaving America better for our children and grandchildren than it was for us. We know what it's like to run a budget, a business and a family. So we will continue to stand on the House floor, debate in Committee hearings, fight against big-government policies, and listen to those of you who elected us. We -- as Republican women -- are leading the charge to make America great again.

Everyone of these republicans that were in office when the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act came up for a vote, voted against it. With friends like that who needs enemies women already have plenty of them in every republican control Statehouse and congress just because these republicans wear skirts doesn't change the fact that they follow their party and their party is carrying out a war against women.

I am married to a man, but kept my maiden name, so "Ms." is probably most appropriate. Honestly? I really don't make a huge fuss about it.
I'll leave it up to you, juliebork, although the simplest solution is to just call me by my YouTube handle. Most of the people I talk to here never even learn my gender.

My sincere apology. Miss WoodyLittle. Or is it Mrs. WoodyLittle. Perhaps Ms.? Whatever you'd like to be addressed as, I want to get it right.

What the hell does lily ledbetter DO? How do they determine which jobs are the same, or how individual people are doing the same amount of work and therefore deserve the same amount of pay? Not everyone does the same amount of work in a job, so you can't just sign a bill and pretend now everyone's equal.

As far as im understanding from the wording of the republicans the bill was voted down because homosexuals was included, among others, which they didn't like the idea off. Thats the wording they, atleast what they claim, they were worried about.

Maybe you should take the time to see WHY the Republicans voted the bill down on the FIRST time around. It was voted down because of the wording regarding employers. Whoever put the bill together originally overlooked the fact that a suit could be brought against an employer years after an employee left & in many cases that meant that people who had absolutely nothing to do with an employee not receiving equal pay would be held responsible. The time limit was introduced and the bill passed.

Suit yourself, Julie. Whatever turns your crank.
Although, before you go on? I'd better come clean. Don't want you embarrassing yourself any further.
You seem to have gotten the wrong impression about me and I genuinely hate to spoil your little fantasy, but...I'm a woman too.
