A hunger strike? These are so useless. The worst protest ever. The powerful don't care if the people starve themselves. They could care less if you die. All they care about is money.

I think a number of the fasters would agree with you. This isn't a "hunger strike," this is a fast as in "prayer and fasting." Both a way to be in solidarity with various detainees at Guantanamo who have maintained actual hunger strikes for years, and a way to center and focus ourselves during an intense period of activity.

Nice one. I met him at a conference years back 1997, my Dad was playing music for it and i tagged along. Irish musician, (Kevin Moyna). Lovely fella, always remembered him because of his kindess & meant to do a day or 2 at the kitchens to help out but wasn't allowed lol. Good on him too for all his hard work i've seen online too.

Take it for what you want but this  is full of insipid inf. about "trial"(seriously? they were part of jury selection,prosecutor was doing them favor)

Did they try other ways I don't know like work with detainees lawyers maybe they have some suggestion,signing petitions to change USA detention policy,changing prisoners status

from"unlawful combatants" to POW 10 years I pray that is not lost cause with all respect
