"impractical"? This is considerably practical. Just like how normal page turning is practical. How about you stick to your real books, I'm carry around my entire collection of several hundred books in my backpack weighed down by only the pound or two of the tablet, lets see if you can do that with your real book.

Here are my thoughts: create a program that defaults to the cover image when you close the book so that when you open the book again you see the cover and are reminded of the author. This could be an option for people who feel they don't need it. Create a program that shows visually where you are in the book, that shows the bookmark physically placed within the pages and that allows you to open to that page so you could a better sense of your progress.

Interesting progress you're making. The page-turning features are nice but that's not what's really key in my mind. For me the issues with e-books are the locational aspects: Where are you in the book; how many pages more do you have to go; what was the title? You are at location 853 of 1905 just doesn't do it for me.

really slick. it'd great if we could highlight the text just by sliding the finger on top of it. and it's necessary to find a better solution for making notes, too.

Has this been marketed? I see that the video is over a year old now. Is there someplace i can find more info on this product/concept?
