    having seen this film, and more recently viewing "catfish" - i'm offended at the latter film's lack of sensitivity to the truths of such 'catfish' as depicted in Talhotblond, not to mention the cheap and shameless marketing and deplorable closing 'message'. If anybody reading this has heard of Catfish - AVOID - it's Talhotblond, only the poorly assembled fiction version.

    I watched this when it was on TV a while ago. It was really good but the whole story was sick...talhotblond was a lady pretending to be her daughter, then during the story a man ended up shot.

    Just how naive are people? Did he REALLY think some tall sexy woman would be surfing the web looking for a boyfriend? It is common knowledge that people tend to lie on the web. Plus, had they ever met in person, how was he prepared to explain his actual age and marital situation?
