http://www.ted.com At the heart of modern cosmology is a mystery: Why does our universe appear so exquisitely tuned to create the conditions necessary for life? In this tour de force tour of some of science's biggest new discoveries, Brian Greene shows how the mind-boggling idea of a multiverse may hold the answer to the riddle.

TEDTalks is a daily video podcast of the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes. Featured speakers have included Al Gore on climate change, Philippe Starck on design, Jill Bolte Taylor on observing her own stroke, Nicholas Negroponte on One Laptop per Child, Jane Goodall on chimpanzees, Bill Gates on malaria and mosquitoes, Pattie Maes on the "Sixth Sense" wearable tech, and "Lost" producer JJ Abrams on the allure of mystery. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design, and TEDTalks cover these topics as well as science, business, development and the arts. Closed captions and translated subtitles in a variety of languages are now available on TED.com, at http://www.ted.com/translate

insinuation, dogma, bias, self absorbed, general consensus, exaggerating, lack of and conclusive evidence, rhetoric Boy how I love science. Something that is simple is far too complex for those who choose to deny it. i.e. life

I have a science major and am also Agnostic, so your comment doesn't apply to me you F***tard.

you're yet just another sad atheist hating and blaming everything and everyone, going round and round chasing his tail til the end of time.

Being Agnostic I am open to learning and extracting data from anyone and anything, so stop being just a grumpy hater all the time (specially with those around you) get laid sometime and start living your life.

    Cheers!

I actually also blame people like you too for accepting the status quo and ignorance and mediocrity and stupidity to have its sway. People have to change moron and we don't deserve survival if we're dumb enough through our belief in spirits and magic and the supernatural and demons and ghosts and religion, to deny science and fear the real world and therefore not understand shit. We don't deserve the stars and our disease is better off isolated here on Earth until we're done. FU Stay dumb

Ridiculous comment. This is simply about why we exist in a universe with laws capable of supporting and creating forms of life. This has nothing to do with how life actually formed, which was indeed abiogenesis and natural selection.

I actually also blame people like you who instead of doing something just look for others to blame. The past is the past and everything that has happened is important because it has lead to where we are now.

Just give thanks that humanity has survived till now and hopefully we don't destroy ourselves and go back to the stone age (or worst) and then Brian's prediction of the future astronomers who only see a black sky will become true.
