is there anybody who has got some sense of humour? she isn't blaming Steve Jobs for christ's sake, she's being ironic in a good way, I wonder why nobody understands that, at least from the top commentators..She isn't stating, that magazines are useless, that's a line supposed to be the child's, and how do you know, that the mother doesn't read her a book??? wake up

Your sentence, sounds ridiculous, in my head, because you used, too many damn, commas.

What she going to learn from a book? She cant read yet and shes not going to repeatively look at the same few pictures over and over again in a book.... an ipad has ever changing more engaging content than any book. Not sure why some of the older generations are hating on technology.

i completely agree, ipads/technology gadgets are amazing tools and babies should be playing with them to learn.
-
oh and btw, you say that now, but wait until you have a kid lol, you will be much more willing to sometimes give him ANYTHING that will just keep him busy so you can do the dishes or cook dinner.

so your saying a book is better than an ipad? they're the same! something with information on them only an ipad can constantly change the information without cutting down more trees. my 18mnth old is amazing on our ipad, plays so many interactive games learning shapes, colors, numbers much better than a book could ever teach him because books are boring, they dont do anything!

Baby is touching random things in the screen. Which is the part where she is doing something specific to say "this one works". Is like putting a monkey in front of a PC, and say "wow, this monkey is a computer engineer".

This little girly is adorable!

@xoxoplushie and that is why you are a screwed up freak. Now stop bitching kid.

Screwed up kid. Kids nowadays get stuck at home playing ipads instead of seeing nature and going out to play. If I get married and have a kid, I will NEVER let him have a smartphone till 13. That's what my mum did.

... our generation spent years in colleges and certificate programs learning how to master. What she'll go to college to get a degree in will be something far beyond anything our generation could even dream of. There's absolutely nothing wrong with what this kid is learning right now at the age of 1 1/2. Technology is part of her world and her future, preventing her from experiencing it would be a crime.

I don't understand all the people who insist this kid is screwed up. Didn't we all grow up with Apple II C's, TVs, cordless phones, call waiting, Nintendo and other video game consoles? We had stuff our parents didn't have and we grew up with a slightly different thought process than our parents because of it. This is just how we progress as things go forward. I guarentee this little girl will be developing websites by the time she's 10 and she'll master the same programming languages ...
