While driving back from a hike in Hetch Hetchy we suddenly stumbled on two bear cubs and their mother.

    If anyone of them got out of the car and near those cubs that mama bear would have killed them. That's how you hear of bears attacking, usually it's a female with her cubs near by.

    Don't be stupid people. Observe from a distance and take plenty of photos and videos but do not touch.
