Hey, moron, read the book and you'll know what to expect. The Hobbit isn't as serious as Lord Of The Rings and was never meant to be. Lord Of The Rings took place during the war of the ring, in The Hobbit, there is no war going on at all, the most that's happening is that Sauron may have returned as The Necromancer and Gandalf has to expose him and stop him before he can form an alliance with Smaug. That's why he's helping the dwarves get Erebor back. Seriously morons, books, they exist!!

I am hoping that he will re-release the Hobbit movies as extended versions like he did with the LOTR movies. The extended versions were just so much better than the theatrical versions in every way. He probably had to get the first Hobbit out in a rush which is why it sucks maybe.

Peer Jackson fucked this movie up. Lord of the Rings.....great. 1st part of the Hobbit.....how did he fuck this up so bad? All he had to do was what he did in LOR and it would have been awesome. All I want to do is see what the Dragon looks like now....but I am not sitting through 2 more of his wretched creations.

Why did this movie get such mixed reviews? Was it disappointed Tolkien fans? - Because I'll be completely honest. I've never seen the Lord of the Rings movies and I had a ton of fun watching this movie!
