When you compare how much she is left with it is still a lot more then what the average person is left with. Even if she paid double what the average person in California pays, she still is left with a load of money. Maybe if California wasn't so busy creating expensive regulation and entitlement programs, worrying about porno actors wearing condoms and saying everything causes cancer, then they could spend more time and effort on the middle class. Yes, more taxes are what will solve California's problem of overspending and illegal immigration, despite already having some of the highest tax rates in the nation. It's not like businesses and the wealthy are already fleeing the state in ever-increasing numbers because of (comparatively) over-taxation and regulation, but hell, let's increase taxes on them anyway! The more of them you chase out of the state through asinine policies, the fewer high-earning tax payers you'll have.
