The Mississippi river is drying up and some shipping companies are worried that the drought of 1988 may be repeated, a time when the river dried up so much that barge traffic came to a standstill. In 1988 the shipping industry lost $1 billion, a number that would be far higher in 2012 and could be reached in as little as three days.

the govt./bankers will exacerbate/exploit the drought situation by running up prices more than they would normally go, they are really putting the squeeze on the middle class, get ready for  $6.00 a gallon milk, $5+ a gallon of gas.

Many ppl shareholders are profiting off of this drought. And they stated that by late this year to early next year is when we're going to feel the hit in the supermarkets. Especailly the Corn.. They get Ethonal from corn, and they use ethonal at the pump, so we know what that means for gas, and gas is already on the rise. ABC stated it went up .20 cents in 20 days..

it wasn't long ago rumor had it that gas would go below 3 bucks a gal.

yea i heard of that too but the days of gas being below 3 bucks is over. They already conditioned people to the $3.40 to $3.60 gas price. I wont be suprise if they give it to us though. If it does go below 3 bucks... later, the normal price would be higher then the current. Try $4.00 to $5.00 gas. $3.97 to $4.10 being the national average or maybe higher.. .

hey, i seen a report today that stated "Gas can go below 3 Bucks by Thanksgiving", The Govt may tap into their reserves to "ease up gas prices"

its funny that you mentioned that...today i was watching MSNBC, and Monsanto along with another comapany are trying to contract their "Dought Resistant" seed to farmers with distressed crops... you know they;re alot like Rumpelstiltskin, They wait until you really need some help and then they come along and make you sign on the dotted line...you may benift for a while, but in the long run you lose everything and "Rumpelstiltskin" gain everything pluse more ..

The Mississippi River is lower than usual, but that is from the generate lack of snow in the regions of the its tributaries from the previous winter. Low snow = low runoff draining into the Mississippi during the summer months. This is not a strange phenomenon that will lead to the Mississippi River drying up. The same river flooded in 2011 and 2008 (the time period you got footage to compare to the current river stage).

Hey all I know and feel is that something very strange is going.

I live in Michigan I have my own landscaping company how ever the sun was so dam hot every time I tried to go to work the sweat poured out of my body. Every day I felt as if my insides,my guys were burning up I was horrible sick went to my doctor had test done I had no salt what so ever in my system.
