That's right! Great artista are great artists. When I read my favorite writers, I take them completely apolitical as well as amoral.
One can like it or dislike it. Hamsun was the greatest writer the last century. He ended up as a Nazi, and betrayed most of his fan base.
Then you have Hemingway. Wasn't he buddies with Castro, and wrote the anti-war elegy "A Farewell to Arms"?

He's a legend. Been a fan since I was 12.
Never seen him Live. Never been to Turin either. But I lost my virginity to a girl from Turin in NYC when I was 17, in a hotel room on the Jersey side where Bruce comes from. What a coincidence. HAH!
