Star Trek one was better. And as "real life" as the one in the video.
It's a year old presentation of a "way" they were "building" and on which they "continue working", in an attempt to "claim the US10 million Qualcomm Tricorder X Prize".
There's a word for "products" like this in tech circles. Vaporware.

No they don't. Read the actual article, not just the headlines. And don't buy into the hype.
Their "working tricorder" as it was hyped by gizmodo, is simply just yet another oximeter. And an expensive one at that.
