they had to use the Island scene because of a accident on set of Dark of the Moon. apparently, someone ran though security and rammed into some of the vehicles to be used in the Highway Battle. they used the Island scene because it had footage of a highway battle. They couldn't re-shoot because it would put them far behind schedule.

The Avengers is better than transformers. Star Trek: Into Darkness is also better.

Most people who liked transformers as a kid would say that the 2007 movie ruined some if their favorite childhood memories. The only people who loved the movie are people who are dumb enough to be wowed by the explosions so much that they didn't realize how dull the plot line was
