    wow reading the comments is breaking my heart. i personally love Now, its so unique and edgy, and I think it fits really well with their personalities and the time theyre going through. they're trying to reinvent themselves and their band and it seems to me like theyre doing the furthest thing from selling out- they're creating what they want and they dont give a fuck. mad props imo!

    Firstly, Zac never contributed to the lyrics - it was only Josh and Hayley, and sometimes Taylor. Secondly, we've only heard 5 entire songs since they left - and 4 of them were only on an EP released for fans (it wasn't even on iTunes). Hayley can undoubtedly write passionate lyrics (for example, the 'Monster' outro which is apart of their brand new song 'Part II'). They don't need to hide behind a lot of metaphors on this song because everything that needed to be expressed in this song was.
