hey shit for brains... you make many mistakes here:

1. Romney did his healthcare for a STATE not the whole country...huge difference!

2. Its not the govts. money , its the INDIVIDUAL's money, no one else has a right to it

3. Govt. is too inefficient to take care of anyone anyway, if you think giving money to the govt. is how you help people, why do we have more people on welfare and poor now after spending TRILLIONS of dollars on them

Because we need more regulations that say your bathroom mirrors have to be such and such a height. Nobody is talking about repealing child labor laws, or safety regulations, its about repealing the idiocy of a government run amok (by the way right now I'm feeling pretty vindicated right now, IRS scandal being foremost in my mind)

Not all banks were on board for this. The big ones knew they would be saved, but the small ones had little choice, otherwise they'd face the wrath of the Feds.

Banks have been strong armed since Carter to loosen loan requirements because increased home ownership is a political goldmine. At no point did Reps or Dems cared what happened. There were a few that saw disaster, but they were drowned out.
