I grew up in a Christian reformed family which, if you know is highly contradictory of anything relating to Evolution, Darwinism or The Big Bang. However, I was lucky enough to go my own way without any prejudice. That's what it all boils down to, our right to choose without judgement from our peers, family and friends. We're all stuck on this ridiculous piece of dirt, hurdling through space at 67,000 miles per hour. We might as well at least try to understand one another.

You're right Neil wouldn't ban religion, but he would most certainly fight to keep it out of science and in classrooms. That's what is wrong with America, we have people trying to ban most science theories and replace it with their religion. It is a product of when you become literally brainwashed by religion.

Why are you people hating on religion? I'm all for science but some of the best people I know are religious - yes of course they get defensive when you start saying they are wrong about their God. We can never understand religious people because we don't feel what they feel - and if you can't see that then you are being hypocritical. Keep an open mind.
