District of Columbia), former co-anchor of ABC's 20/20, honored five times for excellence in consumer reporting by the National Press Club, nineteen-time Emmy Award winner John Stossel, dispels the deceptive, pervasive gun control myths that he once held himself. I was at a 4th of July party with some friends at their house out in the country. We noticed a truck come up the road and two guys got out and started walking up tp us. We asked what they wanted, they didn't say anything at first so my friend asked again and then they became very aggressive, wanted our beer, and started saying they wanted money. The guy at Sandyhook was in the school and firing his weapon for close to 15 minutes, even with a revolver he could have done the same amount of damage in that time frame. The weapon he used had nothing to do with the number killed or harmed, it was the amount of time he had to do as he wished. The same is true for most mass shootings. The lack of a responsible person being armed and able to defend until the police arrived is what did the most damage, shootings won't stop, how we react has to.

You've all heard about the guy that called police to report 3 guys breaking into his neighbors garage? Was told very busy, would be about 40 minutes. 4 calls later he told them not to rush. He had shot them all. Of course, he hadn't, but within a couple of minutes there were 7 cop cars surrounding the area, lights and sirens with guns drawn. The would be criminals raised their hands and laid down! Think cops cut their coffee break short?
