An organization as large as the County of San Diego accumulates a lot of stuff. Here's the story of two men, Jay Johnson and David Richardson, who have been digging out some of the more interesting artifacts and documents from department's archives for a large art project. Commissioned by the County, the Artifact Display Project is designed to grace the walls of the new public offices at the huge County Operations Center. Half are finished, but work on the second group is underway. You'll find the completed displays at 5550 and 5560 Overland Avenue in Kearny Mesa.
