In this session we will demonstrate how we have integrated mobile technology, 2D bar code technology, and the PayPal Adaptive Payments API to create a connected health application that helps consumers get access to personal health information and pay health care expenses at the point of care, using just the camera on a smart phone. We will explore the key characteristics of the payment card system and review how Razoron Health is applying them in health care to give consumers easy, private, and near real-time access to their health information, while helping physicians and health care practitioners to lower costs and to collect co-payments and other service fees faster and more reliably. You'll discover how mobile technology and the PayPal APIs can make consumer-controlled health information exchange as simple as swiping a credit card. And you'll walk away with a solid understanding of how simple it can be to add connected health and payment features to almost any consumer health application or health IT solution.

Speaker:
Bob Blonchek, Razoron Health Innovations
