[Make sure to click HD to watch this in high quality] Thursday June 20, 2013 saw flood waters overwhelm Calgary's Bow and Elbow rivers and run unabated through neighbourhoods adjacent to the rivers including the downtown core and Stampede Park.

On July 4, 2013, the local state of emergency was lifted. Mayor Naheed Nenshi, Tourism Calgary and the citizens of Calgary invite you to join us in Calgary, Alberta. Our doors are open, and we're ready to host the world.
