I concur with the majority of your statement. Although i personally believe, that true ignorance is born of an individuals inability to accept the truth about something, believing their opinion to be fact, even when faced with insurmountable evidence they are incorrect.A man can know very little about something, but choose to educate himself about said subject.This doesn't make him ignorant. ignorance and lack of intelligence are two different things. Ignorance is being uneducated in a certain subject. Intelligence is your IQ, how smart you are. You could be an intelligent rocket scientist but be ignorant when it came to art and painting. If were talking about sky diving and you know nothing about sky diving, I would say you are ignorant to the subject. That doesn't mean your stupid, it just means you don't know much about the particular subject. We are all ignorant to somethings.
