What I loved is that it showed a president who is a very religious man but was still able to not inflict his religious ideology over the nation.

As a liberal, the most important thing this show did was present republicans as a sane and rational opposition. Like it really showed me that true republicans have a completely logical ideology to back up their beliefs on how a country should be run, and to paraphrase the show, the inner demons are shouting down the better angels of their party. And that, my friends, is some sad shit.

Martin Sheen's entrance here was what hooked me and made me never leave. As a 9 year campaign veteran, I did not watch the West Wing for the longest time because I knew in my heart that it would be the political equivalent of crack. I was right!

But the issue with what Josh said was, he did not only insult her but most of the nation who believes in God. So Josh put the whole administration in a really bad place. By doing this, they would be shown in a different light.
